Volume Four carries The Book of Supreme World-Ordering through one of its most demanding and revealing transitions. The earlier volumes establish the large architecture of Shao Yong’s world: number, cycle, manifestation, historical rhythm, and the patterned relation between Heaven, Earth, and the human sphere. This volume continues that work, but it does so at a point where the argument presses more deeply into sound, tonal order, structural classification, and the later development of the Observing Things material.
